At Byrchall we strive to develop a strong presence within the local community. Throughout the school year we hold a number of events that are open to the public.
Senior Citizens'
Christmas Party
Every Christmas our Year 11 students work tirelessly to raise money to fund our Senior Citizens’ Christmas Party. The older residents are invited to enjoy an evening of entertainment, dancing and refreshment. The whole evening is run by our students under the direction of several committed staff. The evening is always a roaring success with places in great demand.
The Garden Party
Every summer our Performing Arts Department hold their annual Garden Party. Displays of excellence from students across the school can be viewed in Drama, Dance, Music, Art and PE. Sunshine and Cream Teas are in abundance, well the cream teas are anyway! Anyone can come along and enjoy this wonderful event.
Carol Service
In December the school joins with St Thomas’ Church to hold our carol service. Our talented students and staff work hard to present a very enjoyable start to Christmas which is open to the whole community. The Christmas Story is told through a variety of music, drama and readings.
