Byrchall High School is a modern, forward looking school which remains rich in traditional values. Ours is a school where high standards of attainment and behaviour are expected from every student; each individual matters and everyone has something special to contribute. We believe that all students should be challenged to produce their best. They should enjoy their lessons and be a full member of our school community, taking part in the wide variety of extra-curricular activities we have on offer.
Our students are here to learn and the curriculum we offer extends beyond the statutory demands of the National Curriculum. We are also a Mathematics and Computing College. This specialist status allows us to build on our areas of strength, offering additional opportunities to our students and to groups within the community. Our extra-curricular programme is very broad, providing a range of opportunities for students to explore and develop learning beyond the classroom.
