A New School For Byrchall!

Manufacturing Site Visit...
BAM Construction, the company building the new school, arranged for some of our students to visit Leach Steel in Preston. They saw the beams that will be used in the new building being manufactured. They had a tour of the site, an opportunity to sign one of the beams, and a presentation about the processes and the careers that are available in that industry.
The students are looking forward to seeing the signed beam being erected on site in the next 2 months. You can see a photo slideshow of the visit below:

The Government have announced that Byrchall High School is one of the 50 schools that are part of the School Rebuilding Project. Our school will be on the earlier part of the programme and we will release more details soon.
The majority of the school will be New Build and we look forward to a top quality environment and facilities.
This is fantastic news for our students, teachers and the community. We are all very excited.
