Child Development Cambridge National Award

Course Content: It is the equivalent of one GCSE. It is assessed via a mixture of coursework and external examination.
This qualification is for learners aged 14-16 who wish to develop applied knowledge and practical skills in child development. It is designed with both practical and theoretical elements, which will prepare students for further qualifications in Child Care, Health and Social Care and careers working with young children under 5.

• Health and wellbeing for the child marked via an external exam • Understanding the health and nutritional needs of a child 0-5 years marked via coursework
• Understanding the development of a child 0-5 years marked via coursework Specification OCR exam board
